Unlock Your Full Potential, Achieve Your Goals.

Kyoshi K.V. Manoharan is the founder of Uechi Ryu Karate Do India and Okinawa Shorin Ryu Relihokan Kobudo India. He established the Physical and Self Defence Training School in Koodali, located in the Kannur District of Kerala, India. Founded in 1997 by Hanshi Alan Dollar, this institution serves as the Indian headquarters for Okinawa Uechi Ryu Karate Do. In addition to karate, the school provides training in other traditional martial arts, including Kobudo, Kalarippayattu, and Yoga. This school aims to promote physical fitness and impart self-defense skills rooted in ancient martial arts traditions.

Kyoshi K.V. Manoharan began his physical training at the age of 12 and launched his career as a karate instructor in 1985 at K.S.V. U.P. School in Kanhirode, Kannur District. In 1987, he expanded his classes to Koodali U.P. School. Today, the school’s current building—officially inaugurated by Hanshi Alan Dollar—serves as a dedicated center for advancing the practice and preservation of martial arts. This institution has become a prominent training hub, focusing on both the physical and philosophical aspects of traditional martial arts.
