It is with great pleasure that we announce the 35th All India Invita- tional Karate Do Kobudo Championship and the International Goodwill Karate Do Kobudo Championship (Karate Times Cup 2024), scheduled for the 21st and 22nd of December 2024 (Saturday and Sunday). The event will be hosted at Ursuline Senior Secondary School, Payyam- balam, Kannur, Kerala, India, under the esteemed patronage of Uechi Ryu Karate Do India and The Karate Times A complete Martial arts magazine. As The Karate Times A complete Martial arts magazine approaches three decades of publishing since its inception in 1994, we look forward to celebrating this milestone with your valued participation We warmly invite you to attend with your talented team and contribute to the success of this prestigious event. To confirm your participation, we kindly request you to send a letter of consent along with a passport-sized photograph. Tournament Rules & Regulations

1. Okinawa Karate Do Kobudo World Tournament Rules will be followed for Kata events

2. Similar WKF rules will be followed for Kumite events

3. Traditional Okiruawan Kobudo Katas (Bo & Sal) are only allowed in the Kobudo events

4.Entry to Championship will be allowed to those Schools connected directly or indirectly to JKF or Okinawa based Karate Do Kobudo Ryuha’s .

5. Karate Participants should wear Karate Ol (white).

6 . If the participants misbehave to the Referee or the opponents, the participant and the team soncemted will be disqualified and sent out of the Championship venue

7. Championship Committee shall not be responsible for any injury that may happen during the sarpetition. But, however, first aid will the providest to the gured, as a humanitarian act

8. Birth Certificate should be provided by the participant, below 18 years, for the proper conduct of the Championship

9. Entry restricted to Karate & Kobudo practitioners only

10. Uechi Ryu Goju Ryu, Shorin Ryu Shotokan, Shito Ryu, Wado Ryu Istin Ryu, Karate Katas only allowed (Separate Calegory)

11. The changes in the rules, if there is any are made as per the decisions taken by the Organizing Committee

12. The list of participants should be submitted to the Committee Office at least 10 days prior to the Championship, (Along with ons passport size photograph)e, on or before 10/12/2024

13. Team taking part in the competition will bear their boarding and lodging expenses, No TA/DA will be extended

14. The participants should report at the venue before 7am on 21 December 2024

15. Participants Certificate will be given to those who participate in the Championship.

16. The winners will be awarded Medels and certificates

17. The Champion of Champion in MEN KATA events will be awarded 5000/- Rupees and PKrishnan Memorial Trophy

18 The Champion of Champion PKrshnan Memorial Trophy in WOMEN KATA events will be awarded 5.000/-Rupees and

19. Runners-up will be award the Prathik & Chashan Memorial Trophy and 5000/- Rupees

20. Team which eams maximum points wil be awarded the Master Seiyu Shinjo Memorial Trophy and 10.000/-Rupees

21. We select the Champion of Champion from the gold medalists

22. No change or re-arrangement of players will be allowed after thus entries are submitted
